Yoga seeks to cultivate wellness through a profoundly holistic approach. In Yoga, wellness is not just a state of being free of pain or illness, it is characterized by vibrant vitality, relaxed positive disposition, and a clear and focused mind. When cultivating health and balance, Yoga works on our many layers to bring about lasting health and a change in how we actually experience and relate to our bodies and minds.

A Personal Approach
 
The viniyoga approach specifically applies the tools and philosophy of Yoga and adapts them to you. Taking into consideration your specific limitations and goals, a practice is developed to meet you where you are and take you step-by-step to wellness and beyond. The practice is designed to:
      - match with your body type
      - fit into your busy lifestyle
      - be unencumbered with equipment or props so
         you can take it with you anywhere.


Individual lessons move step-by-step, relieving pain and gradually building flexibility, strength, and mental focus.

To gain the full benefits and insights of viniyoga's personalized approach, students are encouraged to sign up for an individual session. Classes are available at different locations in the Bay Area, but if you are concerned about engaging your body's strength and flexibility or you have an existing condition or injury, it is best to contact us and check in for the class that is right for you.
